9 residential units on a brownfield site

Brief: Re-design for outline planning where the former vehicle storage area and associated workshop will be demolished and redeveloped to form 9 new dwellings.

Development with a town centre location:

  • 2 no. 1 bedroom dwellings

  • 7 no. 2 bedroom dwellings

  • All with associated car parking, cycle storage and hard/soft landscaping

Design approach and material palette:

  • Mixture of face brick work and slate vertical tiling 

  • Feature Zinc angled window bays

  • Slate roofs

  • Anthracite grey fenestration and rain water goods

  • Polyester powder coated aluminum louvered privacy screens 

  • Glass balustrades 

  • High level windows to achieve light and privacy 

  • Open plan living

  • Bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms

  • Cycle storage

  • All with associated car parking, hard & soft landscaping
